Our Governance

EquallyAble is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and inclusivity. In alignment with federal laws and donor requirements, we affirm the following compliance policies for all programs, operations, and grant-supported activities:

1. Patriot Act Compliance

EquallyAble affirms that no portion of grant funds will be used to support or promote violence, terrorist activity, or related training—either directly or indirectly, including through support to any organization or individual engaged in such activities.

2. Non-Discrimination Policy

EquallyAble strictly prohibits discrimination in any program, project, or grant-funded activity. We do not discriminate against any person or group based on:
Race or ethnicity

  • Religion or religious belief
  • Color
  • National origin
  • Age
  • Sex or gender identity
  • Disability or veteran status
  • Sexual orientation
  • Pregnancy
  • Political preference

Membership or non-membership in any lawful organization.

Any other protected category under applicable local, state, or federal laws.

All funded initiatives must remain inclusive and accessible to all individuals.

3. Affirmation of Secular Program Support

Where applicable, EquallyAble affirms that grant funds will be used only to support programs that:

  • RAre open to all individuals, regardless of religious belief
  • Serve a clearly secular purpose (e.g., food distribution, housing, healthcare, education)
  • Do not require participation in religious worship or activities as a condition for receiving services

4. Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery Compliance

EquallyAble is fully committed to operating in accordance with all applicable anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws. As such, we affirm that:

  • All grants and benefits (cash, products, services, etc.) will be used solely to advance the mission of EquallyAble.

  • No individual associated with the organization will improperly benefit—directly or indirectly—from grant funds.

  • Grant funds will not be used to influence procurement or business decisions within EquallyAble or any affiliated organization.

Furthermore, EquallyAble will not offer, authorize, or provide any payment, gift, or other benefit to any person or entity for the purpose of:

  • Unlawfully influencing any act or decision
  • Inducing anyone to violate their lawful duties
  • Misusing influence to secure an improper advantage
  • Any action that would violate anti-bribery or anti-corruption laws
