Prosthetics Changing fate
Srinivasulu is 41 years old and lives with his family of five in Lakshmipuram, Kurnool. He met with an accident in 2016 and since was confined to his home. He was unable to walk and do anything worthwhile, he was under depression because of his disability and at one point of time he decided to commit suicide considering himself as a liability to the family. The total family is in vulnerable condition and dependent on the work of his wife. They had to depend on coolie for their living. The income of the family was not sufficient to maintain the needs of the family.
After hearing about an EquallyAble funded mobility aids and appliances program which was implemented with the assistance of GoodWalk Orthotics Association (GWOA), he was happy to receive a below knee leg prosthetics. Now, he is selling fruits within the village and earns Rs. 300 to Rs. 400 per day (around USD $200 per month). All the villagers are very supportive and buy fruits from him.
Your donation of only $150 can provide

He expressed his sincere gratitude to the EquallyAble and GWOA for supporting him with assistive limbs.
