Mohammed Iqbal is an extraordinary individual who serves as an inspiration to anyone who wishes to achieve their dreams despite their limitations. Iqbal’s remarkable story highlights how he has overcome his physical disability and social barriers to become a successful and respected member of his community.
Born with a hundred percent disability in his legs, Iqbal has faced ridicule and discrimination from society due to his condition. However, he refused to be defeated by these obstacles and instead chose to pursue his dreams. Iqbal began his journey by learning computer skills in 2004 and earned his diploma in computer applications in 2006. Despite only earning a meager salary of 50 rupees per day, he remained dedicated to his work and persevered through the many challenges he faced.
Through his hard work and determination, Iqbal managed to save up his earnings and began providing people with Aadhar Services. Unfortunately, his work hit a low, and he was forced to look for new work opportunities. This is where he met Arif, a Soochnapreneur associated with DEF.
Iqbal recognized this as an opportunity to further his career and joined the Samarth Soochnapreneur (SSP) DEF. The organization provided him with the necessary resources to continue his work, and he has since become the go-to person in his village for all document-related services. He is now the link between villagers and the administration, ensuring that the community has access to the essential documents they need.
Despite his busy schedule, Iqbal finds satisfaction in his work and takes pride in the knowledge that he is making a difference in his community. His story is one of courage, determination, and perseverance, and he serves as a role model for anyone who wishes to follow their dreams, regardless of their limitations.
